Dull Friends partner terms
Version 1 · 5 October 2026
- 1. Who can join. Partners must be approved by DullDocs. Serving Ofsted inspectors, and local authority staff whose role involves inspection, funding or recommending suppliers to nurseries, cannot join. A nursery's own staff or directors cannot earn commission on their own organisation.
- 2. What you earn. 33% of the subscription payments, excluding VAT, that DullDocs actually collects from each organisation you refer, for 12 months from its first paid invoice. Inspector Briefings and other one-off purchases do not count. Refunds, credit notes and lost chargebacks reverse the commission they relate to.
- 3. When you are paid. Each payment's commission becomes payable 60 days after we collect it. We pay quarterly, by the 15th of the month after each quarter ends, once at least £50 is due. Smaller amounts roll over. If commission is reversed after payment, we deduct it from your next payment.
- 4. Referrals. A referral counts when a new organisation signs up with your link or code before its first payment. The first valid referral wins. Existing customers cannot be referred.
- 5. Disclosure. You must say you earn a commission before recommending DullDocs. For example: "Ad — I receive commission if you subscribe through my link or code." You must not make claims about Ofsted outcomes, bid on the DullDocs name in search ads, list codes on voucher sites, or send unsolicited marketing.
- 6. VAT and tax. You are responsible for your own tax. If you are VAT-registered, we pay VAT on top under a self-billing agreement and issue the invoices.
- 7. Data. You will see each referred setting's name, its subscription status and your commission. Nothing else about the nursery.
- 8. Ending. Either side can end this at any time. Commission already earned is still paid on schedule, unless the referral was fraudulent.
